Moving Away With the Kids After Divorce

After separating, sometimes parents want to move away, and they want to take the kids with them. That can interfere with, or destroy, the children’s relationship with the parent who is not moving. This video explains how the court decides whether a parent should get to move or has to stay. It also explains how parents can protect their rights. Most importantly, it looks at the issues around a parent moving from the children’s perspective and suggests how parents can best help their kids.
